Ingredients

  • In a large mixing bowl, mash the avocado with a fork until smooth.
  • Add the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the mashed avocado. Stir until well combined.
  • Add the shredded halal chicken to the avocado mixture and mix thoroughly.
  • Fold in the chopped cilantro, diced red onion, cucumber, and celery for added crunch and flavor.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed with additional salt, pepper, or lemon juice.
  • Serve the avocado chicken salad immediately or chill in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes before serving. It can be enjoyed on its own, in a sandwich, or wrapped in lettuce leaves.

Notes
